19th September 2005 Windsurfing: Inland Sea Wind Direction: S Wind Stength: F4-6 Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: OK Sea Temperature: OK Weather: Sunny Max Speed: 26.9 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: First day of the course and it's down to the Inland Sea with the Gybers and waterstarters. This is a superb location for learning as it's waist deep where ever you fall in. Spent some time videoing and demoing but also hed plenty of time to play on the freestyle board. Had an opportunity to try a GPS and clocked 25 mph on the Tabou so I decided to take the Ace out for a spin. Clocked 31 mph which is not bad considering that it's full of water with serious cracks between the footstraps! Wound up with a body drag and a few one handed 360s (unsuccessful). Overall a good day. |
